Activities to do at home with the kids

Undoubtedly, the secret of responsible parenting lies in the bond that should exist between mom and dad with the little ones. This bond is strengthened when they do different activities together and, by getting involved in the kids' activities and allowing them to get involved in ours, we are telling them that they are important to us.

During the confinement that all of humanity was subjected to because of COVID 19, we discovered how distant children can be from their parents even when they live under the same roof. It is not enough just to give them an order or tell them what to do, there is nothing better than getting involved with our children.

Some recommended activities to do at home with your little one.

Maybe you've had to face the famous phrase "I'm bored" of your little one or maybe you've had to face a rainy day or the suspension of classes and do not know what to do with your little one.

We want to recommend some of the hundreds of activities you can do together in a creative and fun way:

  1.     Make the bed:

Maybe you've dealt with the childish logic "why make the bed if I'm going to get bullied in it again?", a reasoning outlined by little ones to avoid and postpone this activity.

Although it is an everyday activity it doesn't have to be boring, play with your little one's imagination and have fun folding the blankets, putting the cushions in position and placing the sheets in the right way.

Not only will you be playing with your little one, but you will also be encouraging a habit that he/she will not give up even when he/she is older.

  1.     Put toys away:

Every mother in the world, without exception, has to deal with toys scattered everywhere, toys can be found in the most unthinkable places in the house. They also struggle with the children's refusal to put their toys away.

But you can change the fight to put their toys away into a competition to see who can put away the most or play a game of toy dunkers, this way they have fun together and you teach them to put the toys in the toy basket.

  1.     Tidy up their play place:

Usually the kids' play place is characterized by its colorful mess, toys over here, stuffed animals over there, dolls over there, drawings over here and for them it will always be well organized, although for others visually it is not.

We recommend you to be creative when organizing their play space "to play to play, putting everything in its place", in this space everything that has a round shape, on the shelf everything that has a red color, organize by size and between play and fun the play area is already organized.

¡Remember!

Many of the crises that a child goes through are framed in the absence of their parents, it is important that we understand that the presence of parents in the lives of their children is essential because their character will be forged and their future will be delineated in view of the parents.

Our children will imitate our actions, good or bad, they will be the model to follow, that is why it is important that we involve them with us in all the activities we do at home.
