Muitas vezes torna-se uma dor de cabeça ensinar e educar as crianças, pois às vezes acabamos forçando a criança a fazer o que achamos que pode funcionar. Porém, o cérebro da criança funciona de maneira diferente, principalmente nos estágios iniciais. A escrita sensorial é uma técnica inspirada em María Montessori e ajuda a criança a aprender as letras de uma forma diferente e no seu ritmo.
Por que aprender letras através dos sentidos?
É do conhecimento de todos que recebemos informações do nosso ambiente através dos sentidos, pois eles criam percepções que contribuem para os processos de conhecimento, fundamentais para o desenvolvimento das funções cognitivas básicas (atenção ou memória), bem como quanto às habilidades cognitivas superiores (resolução de problemas, linguagem, criatividade e raciocínio). Por exemplo, a criança, ao apalpar ou manipular, transmite ao cérebro as características do objeto, que têm a ver com a experiência tátil, através da qual ela consegue compreendê-lo e, por sua vez, assimilá-lo de uma forma diferente. maneira do que ele ou ela faria, apenas, através da visão. Quando permitimos que a criança manipule letras fora do plano bidimensional, as informações sensoriais que ela vivencia geram um aprendizado muito mais significativo do que tocar uma letra impressa, que não transmite nenhuma informação tátil.
Como realizar esta técnica?
Segundo a metodologia de María Montessori, deve-se trabalhar com diferentes texturas que, ao serem palpadas pela criança, lhe permitam experimentar sensações de reconhecimento em relação ao objeto que está tocando. A ideia é que a criança contorne a letra com os dedos indicador e médio. O uso desses dedos se dá porque, no futuro, serão eles que serão usados para segurar o lápis. Além disso, ao realizar esta ação, você aprenderá os movimentos da braçada, retendo-os na memória e promovendo assim a motivação para o aprendizado.
Letras de lixa
A seguir, tomando como exemplo as letras da lixa, explicaremos que tipo de texturas você pode usar e como fazê-las com materiais caseiros. Vamos começar!
Para fazer as letras da lixa você precisará dos seguintes materiais:
- Cartões de duas cores diferentes: uma cor para vogais e outra para consoantes. Por exemplo, cartões rosa para consoantes e cartões azuis para vogais.
- Tesoura para cortar o papelão.
- Lixa (se preferir pode substituir a lixa por cola dourada)
Procedimento
Primeiro de tudo, você deve desenhar as letras na lixa e depois recortá-las. Depois, é preciso colar as consoantes em um pedaço de papelão, por exemplo, no rosa, e as vogais no outro, o azul.
A partir dessa ideia você pode fazer letras sensoriais com qualquer tipo de material que preferir: você pode desenhar uma letra em um pedaço de papelão e colar em volta dele, por exemplo, papel colorido, esponja, grãos, lã, etc. Deve-se fazer a letra sobre uma base lisa, sem nenhum tipo de relevo, para que a criança, ao apalpá-la, concentre-se apenas na textura da letra. É aconselhável começar com letras minúsculas ou cursivas, dependendo também do gosto e interesse.
